Chongqing Sanchai Power Group, the predecessor is Chongqing Sanchai Engine Manufacture Co., Ltd. Established in 2009, located in Tongliang Industrial Park of Chongqing, mainly specialized in research, development, design, manufacture, sales and after-sale service of diesel engines, gas engine, marine engines and engine spare parts. Sanchai's prime products include newly developed series of high-power engines (from 132.6 to 2000 HP), such as NT855, KTA19, KTA38, and KTA50 series diesel engine. Suitable for generator sets, engineering machineries, marine/vessels and heavy duty truck field.
We have adopted advanced PT fuel injection system, hydraulic injection and changeable timing system, turbocharged system, and air inner-cooling system. With those features, Sanchai's engines possess more advantages than others, such as larger power, fuel-efficient, lower noise, smaller volume and lighter weight, etc. Continuous exploration and innovation in technology is the key to our success. Sanchai has owned more than 60 nationally registered patents, including 10 invention patents (cast-steel cylinder body of diesel engine), 25 appearance design patents (cast-steel cylinder body of diesel engine), and 25 practical new patents (cast-steel individual cylinder head of diesel engine). Sanchai has an excellent R&D team comprising several senior engineers, and a modern R&D center, which makes Sanchai a new leader in the industry.
Diesel Engine Technology
To operate effectively and safely, the engine must continuously deliver air, fuel and lubrication to the cylinders. In addition, engine emissions, created as by-products of combustion, must be treated to meet global environmental standards.
While an engine can breathe in and operate on surrounding air collected through intake valves, it’s not ideal. Oxygen density changes depending on air temperature and altitude.
A turbocharger compresses intake air to optimize combustion efficiency. Spinning the compressor is done through the force of exhaust gases coming out of the cylinders. These gases spin a turbine, which then spins the compressor wheel on the other side, sending compressed fresh air to the intake valves.
As with air and exhaust valves, Sanchai fuel systems use the camshaft to control the injection process. The amount of fuel delivered to the cylinder is controlled in part by the speed at which the engine turns, since the camshaft is connected to the crankshaft.
